Our Commitment
Dripping Springs Rescue Collective is a community-driven 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. We are rescuers, volunteers, and advocates in the Central Texas area committed to transforming animal lives. Our mission is to build a more compassionate Central Texas by providing sanctuary, medical care, and second chances to vulnerable animals.
Our
Story
How it all started...
The Carter and Hendrickson families have been separately and collaboratively rescuing and rehabilitating animals for many years. In 2025, Brandon Carter was inspired by his high school business teacher to found a non-profit organization to support the rescue work, and thus the Dripping Springs Rescue Collective was created. Through his efforts, we were granted Federal 501(c)(3) status in January, 2026. This enables us to rescue more animals and for our generous donors to receive a tax benefit as well.
